Greeter/Special Services at The Home Depot June 2014 - October 2016 (2 years 4 months)

As a Greeter / Special Services, I am, in effect the Face of the company, responsible for personalizing the experience for shoppers—matching their queries with the products, resources and services they need. Additionally, Home Depot offers unique, hands–on projects for kids and parents. Furthermore, as Team Captain for the Kids Workshops, my responsibilities are to help create, plan and run monthly and special event workshops. I also set-up, clean, assist parents and children in project construction, tool usage, instructing, and most of all, being the catalyst for creativity that emerges in these activities, based on the theme for the month/event. One aspect I love about that is the merging of my own background as an artist with the pragmatic and seeing what emerges through creative, and personalized customer service.


Computer Lab Aide at Columbia College Chicago August 2010 - May 2014 (3 years 9 months)

Opening the Lab: turn on all equipment, including computers, printers and the print screen. Check student, professors and staff users into and out the computer lab via iAttend system. Log issues and assistance into help log. Walk around: push in chairs, straighten computers/equipment, close open applications, pick up trash/refuse, observe lab policies are being followed by lab guests, stock printers. Assist lab guests: field questions regarding computers, printers, scanners, applications, and facility use. Close lab: clear files from desktop and downloads, empty trash/recycling bin, shut down computers and printers. Clean screens, keyboards, mice, and counter tops.


Lead Project Coordinator at FedEx Office September 2004 - August 2009 (4 years 11 months)

Overnight Production (2008 to 2009) Managed all aspects of overnight operations within high-volume production center. Ensured projects were completed in an accurate and timely manner; addressed and resolved any discrepancies or errors. Completed temporary assignment managing copy center; utilized Oce 2600, Oce 3165, Xerox 5090, Ricoh 550, Canon CLC 700S and Canon CLC 1120. Generated tabs, page inserts and copies (single-sided to double-sided) utilizing various weights of paper (including NCR). Prepared layout of customer files, adhering to specifications; ensured files were print ready. Output files to Dolev and Agfa image setters. Designed forms, posters, brochures and business cards.


Graphic Designer at City of Reno January 1998 - January 2000 (2 years)

Functioned as Management Intern to Marketing department. Designed a wide variety of municipal publications to promote community programs (e.g., athletic, fitness, dance classes and childcare), as well as flyers and general service brochures.
